Contains the following types of materials: photographs (including long, rolled photographs), postcards. Covers the following wars : World War I (WWI), World War II (WWII). Contains photographs of the following military units and organizations: 112th Infantry Regiment; 8th Infantry Regiment, National Guard Pennsylvania (NGP); 104th Cavalry, NGP. General description of the collection: The Allen J. Stevens photograph collection consists of photos covering his entire military career, plus his post-war years as postmaster of Carlisle and his participation in the various military social activities at Carlisle Barracks. His service with the 104th Cavalry comprise the bulk of the collection. There are also numerous photos of the Pennsylvania National Guard on the Mexican Border (1916-1917), photos and postcards of France, the 112th Infantry Regiment during WWI, and a few photos of his service during WWII. Unfortunately, the bulk of his WWII photos were not donated with the rest of the above material.

Schoener's Company C, 7th Regiment; he enrolled on 13 November 1875, and was discharged on 9 May 1876 at Mahanoy City, Pa., for physical disability.
